Dish should partner with buzztime and do those bar games on your tv at home. Its kind of cool competing with other people in the bar and would be cooler if you could do the same at home over your tv with other DN users, and even chat with them. Obviously, an internet connection would be required.

I had Buzztime when I had digital cable. Enjoyment was greatly reduced by the slow response time of their antique STBs. I don't know how it would fare on Dish. My 622 is fast enough for watching TV, but the last time I checked, the interactive applications sucked -- so much so that I'm not inclined to even check whether anything has been improved.

If connected via the net

The lag time will vary depending on the connection speed of your internet. That may varyas well since some connections vary dependent on number of users at the time and distance from their hub. So don't know it could be great sometimes and terrible at others.

If I want to play games with people I'll open the laptop and get on the internet. I could find much nicer games on my PC or 360.
