Hey everyone, I want to see what your opinion is on a problem I just started having with my 622. For the past couple days, i can be watching any channel, including DVR items, and the screen will go back to the lost signal screen, but there is no sat number, only a transponder number. The odd thing is that as soon as I hit the guide button, the picture comes back. This will happen a couple times a minute, then it may not do it for a while. But it is very annoying. Any ideas on what could cause this? I have a tech coming out this weekend to re align the dish, but why would that affect me playing recorded shows?

Check your PIP source.... see this link here of what was causing mine to do the same thing "sat signal lost" msgs even while watching DVR stuff...
it would even lock up & reboot when I tried to get to the "point dish" screen...

The same exact thing happened to me about a month ago. I called a CSR and was told to do a hard reset on the receiver. That fixed my problem!
