DishHD standalone and multisport

On customer chat tonight...I was told that I could get the DishHD standalone with locals and also get the multisport, which be a great way to get my RSN. I did not sign up for it because I still needed to talk to my wife. But I thought the customer chat person was misinformed because the Multisport says qualifying program is necessary. I hope I did not miss a golden chance.

The would not have been able to add the multisport to your account. When I switched, the rep tried a bunch of different ways, and was unsuccessful.
