Dishing it up

So I personally am looking at dishing it up, I am out past my 24mo contract. I was no a Dish Tech at the time of the initial install. Does dish require the initial installation person to perform the upgrade or is that something I can do myself, of course with that, sign a new 24 mo. contract.

I have a single 722k right now with 2 TV's , and would like another just like it or should I go with a 922k?

General consensus is the 722K is a better, and cheaper receiver to get and use, especially now with the free (after rebate) sling adapter. With a 922, your monthly DVR fee will jump from 6-10 dollars. $200.00 to get it.
Not sure of current Dish policy regarding additional receiver installs. One of our DIRT people should be able to tell you.

I doubt they will let you do your own upgrade.

and don't forget the $17 a month charge for the extra 722.....
