DishNet Satelite dish to Directv M12-500 receiver

I have cottage that has a Dish network satelite dish (TurboHD dish, no other details) that has dpplus digitial 3 lnb. At home I have directv with a D12-500 receiver (w/ SWM) that I would like to transport back and forth to the cottage. Can I use existing dish and if so what would I need to connect to my Directv D12-500 receiver?

Basically in a nutshell it won't work. It is looking at the wrong orbits, and the DPP LNB is incompatible with Directv receivers. You have to get a Directv dish and aim it for DirecTV's orbital slots.
