DishPro stacked LNB + DISH legacy adapter with DirecTV IRD?

Is there any reason you wouldn't be able to use a DishPro stacked LNB and a DISH legacy IRD adapter with a DirecTV IRD for 101 only?
 
The cost of the equipment is the first thing I can think of and without trying it I am not sure a Directv receiver would recognize the signal.
