If anyone receives "distant network channels", ie: out of your local area.
I would suggest you get a hold of your members of Congress, providing you want to continue receiving them.
You can subscribe to any newspaper on the planet with no problem, but if you want to get your news via television, you will be limited to your local channels only.
I use this example: I was watching New York news on 11 Sept 2001 for over 20 minutes before L.A. or Phoenix stations broke from their local broadcast.
You should be able to subscribe to any network in any city that is advailable via satellite.
The U.S. goverment owns the broadcast spectrum not the networks.
If it matters to you let them know, if not then don't stay in the dark!!!
