Do I *need* an inline signal meter for AT9 5lnb Install?

I read through the instructions and it said that I can't use the receiver to install for finding the signal. (that is how I've always done the regular dishes.) Do I need to buy an inline meter or can I get away with just looking at the signal strength on the receiver???

While it's possible to do it that way, an inline meter makes it MUCH easier. You don't need an expensive fancy meter - I peaked mine with a plain needle meter.
