Does 622 send OTA locals to 2 TVs?

I'm new to the forum, new to Dish (installation scheduled for 7-11-06), and new to DVRs (I'll be getting the 622). If this question is a rehash, please excuse me, but here it is: Someone told me that the 622 will not pass the OTA signal to TV2 in the other room. Is this correct? I hope not, as I've told Dish I don't need locals from them. Thanks for any info you guys can give me.

Yes in single mode, NO in dual (independent) mode.

I only get one OTA HD channel, but IIRC I have watched that one remotely on my TV2. (I don't watch any of the SD OTAs.) That was in the Single mode - not sure if it also works in Dual. Two notes: the 622 only receives ATSC (digital) OTA signals, HD and SD. Also, if you don't sub. to the LiLs from E* then you won't get the OTA channel information appearing in your EPG, just FYI.

Anything you record (including OTA HD) is viewable on TV2 in SD.

Viewing OTA HD live is only available on TV2 in single mode with shared view enabled. (and from what I've read you DO want shared view enabled if you are gonna use the SWAP button)

That and you don't get the EPG if you don't subscribe to the locals.
