Does dish requre a credit card or bank account info?

Does dish ask for credit card info or bank account info like Directv does. I have went down the road with directv and them getting into my bank account without my permission. I was wondering if dish does the same thing like directv does? Also can you pay just for HD channels. I don't want to pay for double for the same channels for example history in SD and HD?

There is a prepay option- name escapes me at the moment. HD only- well, that day has passed.

I'm setup with Dish and the Dish family package on a monthly program using a prepaid American Express card that I reload each month so they never see anything else. I also own my own equipment

There are HD only packages.

Still? I think they include some SD also.

They throw in the PI channels, but mostly HD in the Dish America pacs.
