Does the 722 allow different formats for HD & SD

Can tv1 be set for widescreen format, while tv2 be set for 4x3 format? I assume since the 222 allows this feature, that the 722 would also

Yes TV2 can go Standard(4x3), letterbox, and zoom

On TV 2 hit the * button on the remote. It will switch between modes. You can do the some on TV 1 if you want to stretch a SD channel.

TV2 settings are more limited.
TV1 has normal stretch partial-zoom zoom but TV2 if like normal (letterbox for HD, full for SD) stretch? and zoom.
The HD and SD channels maintain separate settings for each.
