Downgrade Receivers?

Can you downgrade a receiver for e* for no cost. Basically I'd want to take my 722, and get a 612, and then upgrade my 211 to a 612 so I can have 3 612's on my account.

So I'd have the option to add a 4th receiver later... I guess, I may as well wait until that time comes though... I guess I wanted to know if I downgrade one and then I'd be able to upgrade another at no cost.
