Restart the DVR
as soon as you seen the lights on it come on hit the following buttons on the remote 0 2 4 6 8 hold each one down for a second or two before moving to the next one. You should see it go to a downloading software screen and it will revert back to whatever national release is out there.

Just make sure you don't do that between 11pm, and 2am, on a CE Friday or Saturday.
