DP44 Switch - Ground Block

I have been seeing the DP44 Switch being offered for sale as a 2009 version Ground Block compared to the older version that possibly can not act a ground. I thought the 44 switch always had the ability be a ground.

I think the official position was that it was not to be used as a ground block, although Dish had diagrams showing it being used as one. I've seen installers use it as one as well.

I don't think they were ul approved as a ground block until the 2009 model.
