Hi All:

New to the forum, and I have searched, and have not been able to find the answer to this issue, so please excuse if a previous thread discussed.

I subscribe to NHL Center Ice. I have a Dish Network DP508 DVR. When I attempt to set a timer for a hockey game playing later on in a day, I notice that the DVR will not allow me ("X" shows up when I attempt to schedule). When I get the information for the timer event, I see the following information:

Event Skipped: Already Recorded
Originally aired in: 1948

There are so many questions I have regarding this, but the main question: How can I get the system to stop doing this for every game I attempt to record?

I have missed so many games because of this issue and it really is quite a nuisance.

THANKS in advance

-- Jim

KAB: It is already set to "Once", and I still get the "Event Skipped".
garys: My only option for this is a "Restore" option, which "seems" to set the event to record (the "X" becomes a check mark). However, the event still gets skipped.

Am I missing more details on what you wanted me to do?

THANKS for the responses.
