Can I use the DPP Separator With a DISH PRO QUAD

Cause I cant get it to work I am Using the Dish Pro PLUS 44 SWITCH


as soon as I use the DPP Separator. The dish wont see it, Without Separator, it works find, I am using a Dual receiver

The separator can only be used off of the DPP Twin or using the SD and the 44 switch together.

DP Separator will only work with a DPP Plus Twin LNB. In your case, it takes "three" to tango: DPP Plus Twin, DPP44 and DP Separator.

DP Twin or DPP Twin to DPP44 to Separator. DPP Twin will work with DPP44, however, the third satellite feed in the DPP Twin LNB is disabled. That is, all satellites must be fed directly to the DPP44. I have not tried a quad with a DPP44.

Don't know why the DP Quad wouldn't work. The DPP44 can be fed by the DP Twin, DPP Twin, DP Quad, or all separate DP LNBs.

The DPP Separator can not be used directly with the DP Quad because the DP Quad doesn't have a DP Plus switch. The only current DP Plus switches are the external DPP44 and the integrated one in the DPP Twin.

gh68, did you do a check switch after changing the configuration?
