DPP44 not making 61.5 dominate

I have a 1000 dish and a 500 with one dual for 61.5 and a DPP44.

I have the DPP44 switch setup 119-port1,110-port2,61.5-port3,129 port 4

I have a 622 and I can not get the HD channels mirrored on 129 and 61.5 to use 61.5 and just use 129 for my locals. Any ideas anyone??

Its a software issue on the satellite intentional by DISH. Unless your locals are on 129, the solution would be to disconnect the 129 feed and run check switch again.

You need to chose one satellite or the other, seeing your locals are on 129 try reaiming the dish pointing at 61.5 at 129 to give a better signal off 129. Disconnect the existing 129 feed and use the 500 aimed at 129 so you are only looking at three satellites.

I find that on some days, the VIP211 selects 129. Other days it uses 61.5.

Hmmmm. I use the same set up and 61.5 is dominate.

Seems to be the case here today its a little cloudy and is using 61.5

I quess it doesn't matter except when 129 drops out. Then I check switch will get me to 61.5.

The installer tried pointing a 500 at 129 and only got 60.

So thats why I'm at the 61.5 set up. ( And Free too!!)
