Drop Locals issues?

I am under the impression that Dish will never refuse to upgrade your subscription package since they will be making more money. I would be shocked if they have some sort of limit.
I don't know if they still offer 'welcome package' that I switched to. Locals are included. After getting ota channels, I called to drop the locals to save even more. I was told that was not possible.
If I were you, I'd give them a call. If you lost some locals due to the latest disagreement, Dish would be willing to go with your plan.

No limit to amount of times you add and cancel programming on DISH. There can be a $5 charge if done within the same billing period.
Your title is a bit misleading....
