I have a Direct TV 24” elliptical dish that has a 101 LNB, and 110, & 119 LNB's that I am using for dish work. Instead of buying a new super dish to receive my local channels, would it be possible to attach the 121 KU FSS LNB next to the 119 LNB on my elliptical dish and receive the signal? What about the 105 next to the 101 LNB? Will this work since this is a 24” dish.

I found this picture from:

which would be similar but I would need it attached to the 119 LNB.

If anyone has ever done this and got it to work, I would appreciate any comments.

Also, which KU FSS LNB is the best to use? Found may different types available on the net.

Thanks

How about one of them torodal (sp?) dishes. Does anyone have any experience with one of these as both a Superdish & 148 or 61.5 setup?

That would be a wicked one dish method for all four sat locations.

There's all sorts of issues with the toriodal dishes. For example, two reflectors means reversed signal polarities which requires special LNBFs, and last I checked, DishPro was not available - which means no DPP44 switch. They're also expensive.

They can be fun, but strictly for someone that's wanting to play with their dish.
