I get locals over a 622, I have HD absolute. I have an antenna hooked to the 622 for nonlocal channels 60 miles away, sometimes under the right conditions I can pickup channels 90 miles away, If I get a DTV Pal Plus will I be able to pickup the 90 mile channels more often. Thanks ron

This is only my own experience, so take it for what it worth. It has not allowed me to get any additional channels, but channels that tends drop out repeatedly on my 722 remain locked on the dtv pal plus. It seems to handle better fluctuations in signal strength which normally on the 722 results in a lost of signal, but it does not seem to be any better in pulling in signals.

In other words, when I have 2-3 second repeated drop outs on the 722, I will switch to the DTV PAL PLUS and the signal will be steady - no drop outs

Hope that makes sense and helps.
