Dual Vip Dvr's

Does anyone know how to get another Dish vip722dvr without having to commit to a 24 month contract? I currently have a vip622dvr.

Try a local vendor. I purchased my second 622 from local vendor and saved around $100.00.

the only difference i know of between the 2 is the 722 is black and has a bigger HD... i say pay the USB fee and get an external drive

And do it sooner rather than later. During the tech chat they mentioned that the price was going to go up from $39.95 to $49.95.

I leased a 622 in August and they let me lease a 722 3 weeks later--for $199 that is. Had to play Dish roulette and I've been with 'em 10 years. No further commitment. Good luck.
