dvb s2 signals

Just a quick question. Can my pansat 9200 HD receive dvb s2 signals.
There was a feed that I will not post here in the open forum - but I entered the transponder info and pids, got a lock with good signal chose the modulation scheme as "dvb s2 qpsk" and could not scan in any channels.

I did not get the optional 8psk board for the reciever since it costs almost what I paid for the receiver itself.

qpsk isn't s2.. 8psk is..

NOT true, there are DVB-S2 signals that ARE QPSK, but most common ones are 8PSK. Just do a dvb-s2 qpsk - Google Search google search

Yes, I had a signal lock under "dvb s-2 - QPSK" but could not get it to find the pid's.

I don't believe so.. DVB-S2 supports QPSK, 8PSK, and some other one I can't remember.. but S2 is more synonimous with 8PSK since that's the enhancement it added..
