DVR 508 powers itself off when changing channels

I have a 508 - One day it began to power itself off, then back on as if the power was lost (does the acquiring sats thing) when changing channels, going into the guide or anything else while using the remote. I tried a different remote and it still did the same thing. I tried removing the antenna and using the IR remote and still the same thing although not as often. The odd part is that I can operate the receiver from the front panel and it does fine. Any thoughts? Thanks

Have you tried rebooting the system? I’d shut it off and unplug it for a while. Then plug it back in and let it restart from scratch.

1-800-333-3474 and get it replaced under DHPP.
