I probably should of come here first, before wasting an hour with a Dish Network Tech online.
Anyhow, here is the problem....we have a DVR 510 in the bedroom, and about a month ago it started messing up the names of some of the programs. For instance you'd click on Haunted Detectives, and you'd get Nip/Tuck.
Then about two weeks ago, several shows just totally disappeared from the menu listings. It shows we have 92 hours of record time, but we can only record about 20 hours worth of shows, and then it tells us we cannot record anything else since it's full.
I was trying to figure out if there is a way to re-format the hard drive, and start over?
It seems to have several hours of shows on it, that the menu cannot recognize, so it "thinks" it is full, and out of record time.
