DVR, timers, package change

Okay, I just switched from AT250+HD (Ultimate ?) down to HD Absolute.

• What happens to recordings we've got that are on channels we no longer subscribe to ? Are they "gone" now or can we still watch them ?
• What happens to timers for shows that were on dropped channels ? Do they indicate a problem or do they just vanish ? You know, I was thinking of timers set for the SD counterparts of HD channels I'll still have, so they should be okay. If we truly lose the SD channels, I can at least re-configure the timers (delete them, re-create) to point to the HD channels I still get.

You will not lose already recorded dvr programs, timers for events will not record, you may get a message but most times they will vanish.
