Is there any way possible that I can record my DishDVR movies on my Toshiba DVD recorder? I am a relative newbie, but I can wire anything. What have I done wrong? Thanks Kevin

yes you can. how do you have it wired right now? i currently have the dvr svideo output going into the svideo in on the DVD recorder with the analog audio output from the dvr to the audio in on the dvd recorder. simple enough.

Kevin, I am sure that you have done many many things wrong.

But lets talk about the DVR.

Hookup up the Composite Video outputs from the DVR to the Video inputs of the DVD recording. Press play on the DVR and record on the DVD recorder. Not really sure there is much else you could do.

If you have an s-video, I'd use that input as it would have better pq than just the composite.
