can you tell me which one of the DVR's will allow you to record one program and watch anothor at tne same time? thanks.................:tux:

Any dual tuner dvr will do that, as well as watch a live program while recording another program. Any single tuner dvr will do that if you want to watch a "previously recorded" program while recording another program.

Older, discontinued Dual Tuner DVRs: 942 for High Def, 522 and 721 for Standard Def

There is no 520. The single tuner DVRs are 501, 508 and 510. All use the same software. The 501 has the least amount of space to record, 508 is in the middle and the 510 has more recording time and comes with the, ever so popular, DVR fee.

Are you sure you don't have a 522?
