ENGLEWOOD, Colo. and NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Feb. 7, 2006– EchoStar Communications Corporation (Nasdaq: DISH) and its DISH Network satellite TV service is premiering The Documentary Channel (DOC), a 24-hour network dedicated exclusively to independent documentary film. This is a really good movie. Saw it on Canadian TV a while back. It goes up to Survivor Series (yes, the Montreal screw job)

Yup it has been on for a week. :)

I bet this information gets posted to another sites homepage like it's breaking news. ;)

Sorry, this one snuck under my radar. Didn't mean to start a post about old news. Well, at least I called attention to the official release.....

Nah I just got the press release too. :)

Lately Dish has been over a week behind from when the channel actually comes and is available on Dish Network until they issue the press release.

I had the Bret Hart movie on DVD, it was a very well done special. :)

So far good shows on this channel. I have seen shows on Bob Marley, Ali vs. Chuvalo, and the King of Techno. Pretty pleased with the new channel and the content on it.
