I was trying to remember some historical information on old Dish receivers, and I discovered that the ekb is now hosted here: The Echostar Knowledge base on DBSTalk. Despite the title at left, the actual URL goes to Satelliteguys.us. But what I see when I click on many (if not all) of the links is just a number for a filename with no association between the number and any application; it is simply "application/octet-stream". I downloaded the receiver comparison chart and it appears to be just an html file. Is there some way we can add an association to all these inscrutably numbered files?
I also discovered a new feature of our forum software. If you make a typo in a thread you started, you have at least a little time to correct that blunder before the title can no longer be edited.
