I've never seen this JourneyGo thing before, but it's not offering from Dish. It seems like it uses the other three carriers and has no relation to Dish Wireless

The spec sheet directly from the manufacture does not list band 13 support, which is critical for Verizon, no band 66 support, which all three carriers use for speed, no bands 30 or 14 for AT&T. It lists band 41, but I have not seen band 41 LTE in forever. It should all be n41 NR from T-Mobile by now after the demise of Sprint.

If the spec sheet is true, you are not going to have a complete network experience from any provider.

If you are an RVer/road warrior and you need a robust solution and cellular is adequate for you, a dual sim CradelPoint or Peplink configured for failover with subscriptions to two of the big three will give you the most complete, robust and seamless experience as you travel. But like with all real solutions, it will cost you.

Sounds to me like nothing has changed. Carr of the FCC wants Charlie's spectrum to sell to others. NO matter how much Charlie talked to Trump and Carr that day in the White House. I have a feeling that Charlie will pull the bankruptcy trigger if Carr doesn't back off. Might be the only way out of this debt mess he is in with Boost and his 5g network he is still trying to build out after all these years.

I think you might have a point. The meetings between Trump, Charlie and Carr took place almost a month ago, and we still yet to see exactly came out from those meetings.

Once we find out exactly what the FCC plans on doing, Dish stock is going to either tank, or go even higher than it already is.

Nothing has changed.
The only reason it has not happened is because some EchoStar bondholders would not sign off on the deal.

Looks like they are starting to make plans to get rid of Boost-

This past Friday, a report said that Ergen might be looking to start a turnaround for Boost by combining it with MobileX.

Better to combine Boost with Mobile X than to go under completely. At least the people running Mobile X were the same people behind the creation of Boost back in the day. So they know how to run a cell phone company and were able to add customers, not lose them like Echostar has done.

Then what becomes of the Spectrum Dish has accumulated, since Boost's phones primarily run off of Verizon/T-Mobile Spectrum, would not be a big deal for Mobile X to take over Boost.

They still cannot sell/lease a lot of it before certain dates and/or Government approval.

Plus the fact that the FCC investigation of Echostar ( if they are really using the spectrum) is continuing.
