Encore $5 package

Does anyone else have the Encore movie channel package for $5?

I am receiving all of the Encore channels, including Encore West, but not Encore East. Is that the way it is supposed to be? If so, that doesn't make a lot of sense to me.

That is the way it's supposed to be. Encore East is actually owned by Starz, and is available on the Starz package.

ENCORE is in the Starz movie pack and has been for at least 5 years. Why I don't know but that is the way it is. I wouldn't be surprised if you go to the DISH site and read the description of the Encore Pack you will find Encore (E) isn't listed.

It is, but it matters because East is in HD, West is not.

i have the package for $2.50, so for me it doesn't matter

Pretty good bang for the buck when Starz/Encore is involved. Dish has given everybody free Starz for a year, offers the Encore package for $5 ala carte and includes the Encore package in the AT250. I dont think most providers or even Directv offers or has ever offered those deals.
