How can I fix this tried new hdmi cable reset joyie only having the problem on one tv

I have not heard of Error 890 yet. What was the joey doing when you received the error?

Error 890 is a HDCP (High-Bandwidth Digital Copy Protection) error. What that means is your TV is having a problem with the HDCP handshake to authorize your viewing of the the content. Some people have the issue with the TV input and others have tried a different HDMI cable to fix the issue. HBO is one of the channels that enforces HDCP to view. Have you tried a different input on your TV or have a different HDMI cable to try?
