Hey everybody!

Just to inform you the 3 months for free promo is back until the end of February :
eurochannel_3_months_for_free - Eurochannel

All those who applied for the previous 3 months for free operation will get their 30 USD gift cards in March.

And for all international subscribers, there is as well a Sneak Preview from February 3rd to February 17th (channel 7-5-2).

This month, a special on the UK Rock Band Muse with, amongst other things, extracts of their concert in the legendary stadium of Wembley (7th of February 8PM Eastern / 10PM Pacific).

This is one channel I wish was included in all Dish Network packages.

Its the best and most pure "News" channel. They report what happens with no spin. AMAZING NEWS COVERAGE by Euronews!

It's unfortunate that they are on 118.7 :( we would have subscribed to Eurochannel & Euronews if they were on one of the main satellites.

Thank you for your support Cabledave.

Actually, DISH covers all technical expenses for a 2 years commitment, so would you like to subscribe to Eurochannel, you will not have to pay for extra technical material.

When I signed up for Eurochannel last year, I received a free antenna upgrade in exchange for the usual two-year commitment to DISH, because Eurochannel is on 118.7. The installer brought a DISH 500+ instead of a 1000.2, because he said I "didn't need" the 129 satellite if I already had 61.5. I notice in reading over the posts regarding the 61.5/110/119 issue, that some lucky people did get the 1000.2 or 1000.4 dishes as part of their free upgrade.

I think this might be an option for some of you 61.5/110/119 people who don't want to pay for a new dish. It won't work for everyone; for example it won't work for me because my DISH 500+ already has the ability to point to 118.7 where Eurochannel resides; but it would have worked for me last year if I had been more insistent.

Besides, there is some wonderful programming on Eurochannel, all from Europe, never shown before in this country, and all with English subtitles. For those of you who need a larger antenna to get 118.7 and also want to get 129, it could be a win-win situation.
