Effective on Wednesday, April 6, 2011 by 5pm ET, DISH will no longer offer 4 of the 6 language groups currently offered on the EuroNews channel.
EuroNews will be available in the English language with a Portuguese language alternate audio only.
With this change, two of the three channel numbers where EuroNews is viewed today will be eliminated, leaving EuroNews on channel 901 only. English will be the default language and customers can choose to switch to Portuguese through the alternate audio menu on their receivers. They will need to choose the “Alternate” option in the list of available languages.
