euronews sat 118

i just had my new dish installed yesterday and i was wondering if anyone else occasional sees problems with this channel 784,900,901 any other channels that i get on this sat i dont have a problem with.

I get Euronews off of 148, but I will keep a look out for problems.

Infrequently...

but pixelation and some break-up. As I recall it lasted about 20 minutes, maybe a couple of occasions.

I get EuroNews off 61.5...no issues here in Minnesota

Post a list of tpn and signal level for 118.75W from your setup.

is anyone with the 118 sat seeing the picture being black and white with occasionale bursts of color ch 900/901
not tv becayse no other channel is doing it

Is it new or old scale ? If new - then the SS is good enough; reasons for video breakups could be inside your receiver. BTW, what model you have ?

I do not know what u mean by new or old scale 722 it is happening also on my 612

I've had the same problems with Euronews on all three channels.
It comes and goes. I'm sure it's a Euronews problem as it only happens on those channels.

Odd at times the picture will be nearly black & white with a tiny bit of color.
Or distorted at other times.

No regularity to this occuring.

Like the channel but it repeats way to many times per hour the same stories.
And the weather map goes so quick it's hard to catch the weather.

Still it's nice to see news from Europe.

Wish DISH would get the BBC World News and also EuroSport channel.

If you seen that signal level screen the you seen yellow blinking bar with a warnings about new scale.

No problem on all three Euro News channels here with D1000+ dish.

Signal strength is good - you don't have to worry about dish/switch/cabling.
Time to check your DVR statistics - post pictures of all screens selecting "Counters" in Diag menu.

OK, we see some data to dig down on picture#3: 13) 11:42.
Now lets make pictures of Details screen(s) after press two times on SysInfo button, just give it a couple minutes to finish check signals and parse history tables.

If both skihoo and bjf are having the same issues it sure the heck aint his box. As noted above, its Euronews's feed

Told already - no problem with the channels here while SS 30...40.
