I'm going to miss being able to laugh at Europeans for their crazy VATs. All these essential components we use for our hobbies are going to inflate in price with these massive federal level sales taxes and for what? We aren't even getting good social programs out of the deal. All these $$$ taken out of the working class's pockets to up the military budget to an insane $1 trillion. At least the European VATs help pay for universal healthcare. It used to be the benefit we got for having a sh!tty social safety net was cheap consumer goods and now we don't even get that. The USA is getting the short end of the stick with this one.
