Hey guys, how's it going out there. Well, I am getting more and more frustrated with DishNetwork, and was wondering if you all had any advice. I've been a loyal customer for the past 9 months, and now would like to get a DVR 522 to replace the current dual tuner receiver I have. After talking to Dish and them basically telling me that that exisiting customers mean very little to them I am looking for alternative. I see that on ebay people are selling quite a few DVR 522s. If I buy one, what would I have to do to get Dish to activate it? Is it worth the trouble? Can anything be done here? Thanks in advance.

Just wait a few weeks and Dish should be leasing them to existing customers. I think it will be about the 1st of Feb.
