Export PVR file to PC

I was able to record a movie to the viewsat vs pro. using file manager i moved the file to the partition my pc could access. the file has a .trp extension. does anyone know how i get media player or some other view to recognize it. Or maybe some one can suggest how I convert to MPEG 2 or 4.

Please help. Leaving on a long plane ride and was hoping for some movies to watch.

I've heard of some success using Windows Media Player Classic along with FDDShow to play these files
