Extra package???

Just downgraded to the extra package. Looking on the the dtv website I see it's not an option on there. Is it like come super secret package cause on the site it goes from choice to ultimate

XTRA and SELECT are both currently available though retentions.

I would be happy with my old Total Choice + package.

that number has been disconected. now i call 1-800-531-5000 and say cancel and answer all of the retarded questions. i still get csr's in merica!!!

I call 1-800-DIRECTV and say "cancel service" it asks if I am moving than I say "no" which gets me to retentions. It may ask for your phone or account number if you're not calling from a number on your account.

I have had Xtra for years. It was always the best package for me when it was available. At the time, it had all of the sports channels and the RSNs but not all of the garbage channels and left out a bunch of SD movie channels. Now, I think I get every HD channel that isn't premium, but there are some SD channels I don't have have like Cowboy Channel and the SD movie channels other people get. But it has, so far, gone up proportionally so I feel it is good. I noticed I could drop down a package and keep the sports channels now BUT if I do that, they will re-do my contract and put me on that advanced receiver fee nonsense and that will more than eat up the savings of the free-HD-for-life deal many years ago. Fine print says can't downgrade package or it is voided.
