FAST Channels added to DIRECTV Stream/Internet

How do you receive these channels? They do not appear on my HR-44. They do not appear on my DirecTV App that I use in other rooms (Apple TV or Roku).

Logged into DirecTV online theres no 4000 channel numbers.

Yeah you won't see them on your HR44 but you should be seeing them on the app on the Apple TV. I see them in the 4000's on my Apple TV. Check the Apple TV app store and make sure you are running the latest version of the DIRECTV app.

Nope, the DirecTV app on my devices matches the screen shot I posted above on the website. A few channels in the high 500's, then 602,610,618,719,903-905. That's as high as it goes. If I take the streaming filter off and select all channels, the only thing it adds after 905 is channel 2049 NHK World Japan.

Not sure what you mean. The latest version of the DIRECTV app on the Apple TV App Store is 5.0.76. If you open the DIRECTV app on the Apple TV and go to Settings>About it should show Build 2002095510 Version 5.0.76 right below the DIRECTV logo.

Try turning off the hide SD duplicates option in the app

There's long standing bug where that ends up hiding SD only and streaming only channels, i.e. your screenshot is missing 604 Pursuit and 2095 Arirang which are available to stream with Select.

I'm not home right now but on my iPhone 16, the DirecTV app only opened up 604 Pursuit and 2095 Arirang when I unchecked hide sd duplicates. 2095 is now the highest number in the official DirecTV App. The quality looks pretty good actually, I wouldn't be able to say these two channels are SD, though I am looking on a phone screen. That seemed to open up a few other random channels I don't remember seeing in the app, so thanks for that tip. BONUS is, for HD channels, I still dont see duplicates. In the Philly DMA I would have expected to see two channel 3's, two channel 6's, two channel 10's, etc., but I'm glad I don't!

On my iPhone the app is version 5.0.77 Build 2002095675.

While they're SD only on satellite, their streams on the app are HD. For the English base packages, pretty much everything available to stream except Cozi, GET, MTV Classic, CNBC World, ONCE, HITN and Enlace are streaming in HD.

The FAST channels should be available with all base packages, I wonder if that "Appreciation Pack" screwed up the authorization.

Philly's SD local duplicates were dropped last year when the spotbeams at the 101 slot went away. Only NYC, LA, Chicago, Atlanta and Minneapolis still have SD local duplicates via the 101 slot, along with a handful of markets on 119

Well I'm not going to make waves with DirecTV about it and end up with a higher bill. Most of the stuff seems like its regurgitated Pluto TV, LG Channels, Samsung TV Plus, Google TV, etc... Just thought it would be nice to have it all in one guide.

Some HBO & Cinemax multiplex channels going away
