Once again the brilliant programming staff at Verizon released a firmware update that has altered the favorites guide. They fail to realize that the consumers spend a painful amount of time to set up the favorites and weed out useless channels like QVC, MTV and Jewelry. At least this time I have not experienced the addition of the spanish version of the same channels I have allowed on the favorites guide.
If your favorites guide has been altered please call and complain to Verizon. Hopefully if enough calls come in they will spend more time debugging their firmware updates before they roll out. 888.553.1555
This occurred in the AA County/Maryland subscribers area. I read on another board of other areas having the same problem. Hopefully this means new channels are coming sooner than later.
