I used to have to use a booster since I travel in rural areas. But, as of about 10 years ago I have not had to use one any more. There are still a lot of gaps in coverage where I travel, but I can get coverage at the top of hills. Essentially I know when I can talk on the phone and keep the conversation. A booster would probably eliminate that but, it is not worth it now.
