Okay I've had a little time to evaluate the movies offered on the new FilmFest channel and must say that I like what I see. This is rapidly becoming one of my favorite channels. Nice diversity, some smart foreign films, several movies that I've never heard of before.
I'm so pleased with this new format that I guess I can say I feel okay about "losing" Guy TV to Kung Fu. I feel like I lost a channel on that switch. I'm watching more FilmFest than I was watching the combination of Guy TV and the Majestic channels.
I'm looking forward to enjoying many more "art" movies from this channel. So far I've liked the quality of these movies better than what I've seen on the Sundance or IFC channels.
