This was pretty much known as coming, but now is officially announced.
Verizon | Verizon Adds Two New HD Channels to FiOS TV Lineup: Nat Geo WILD HD and Investigation Discovery HD

Investigation Discovery HD is already on. National Geographic Wild HD is on in Virginia and Maryland and should be on in all markets by the end of the week.
