Was at my GF's father's home this past weekend and had a chance to mess around with his DirecTv HD DVR (HR20).
The receiver was super slow. Searching for shows was quicker in DirecTv's receivers from the early 90s.
Guide was 'OK'.
Channel Lineup was 'impressive' but doesn't blow DISH out of the water. Few extra channels here/there.
Picture Quality wasn't very impressive. I think my 622 looks a lot better. But this could be because of his HDTV (50" Hitachi) setup/settings.
In conclusion I'm glad I still have DISH.
