Either 20/20 , 60 Minutes or another News Magazine did a story on LaLanne about 15 years ago or so and they treated him like he was a drug dealer. They really went after him because he profits from his products and gyms. I was watching this thinking it's not like he selling drugs or something. He promotes good health. And what's wrong with making a profit.?

Many of the older stars went to Jack for fitness advice. Clint Eastwood was a big fan of his. Eastwood is now 80 and works out even today. I hope I live as long as Jack did. He really promoted a healthy lifestyle.

RIP Jack... I used to watch him on afternoon TV back about 1955 and actually did exercises with him. Cool dude!

He was a big deal on TV back in the late 1960's. I worked for a local TV station back then and Jack's show was so popular they ran it twice a day. Not very unusual today, but almost unheard in those days.
