Hello,
I received my new receiver today and wanted to try it right away. I attached it to an 18" dish that was aimed at echostar 3 (61.5w) (Yes I know that echo 3 is circular polarization) did a scan and came up with many channels. As expected, they were all scrambled except 2, Bridges TV and the Dish Network info channel. These two were in the clear and came in perfect! My question is: does this seem correct, or am I missing some other channels that are in the clear? I have a new 90cm dish, and hh90 motor that I will install when the weather is better!

Hello Larry, WELCOME to the SatelliteGuys.US FTA forum.

Just scanned this satellite and yes these are the only two legal FTA channels right now that are in the clear.

nice choice of receiver.....make sure you use the blind scan option to find all the TPs.

I love my NA. Good receiver.
