I'd like to jump into the Chat forum tonight during the Chat with Charlie while it's airing, but is this accessible via an IRC client or is the Java client the only way to go?

I wished my dsl did'nt keep dumping me all during the Chatroom tonite. Fairpoint DSL is starting to P*ss me off. Maybe I should have stuck with dialup. 
No on the IRC. But you canjoin on your iPhone or Droid device.

No access to clear or some sort of rural braudband service? Around here we have 3 rurual braudband options. I live in the city so I have Comcast/Uverse option as well.
