It's only a hack if they actively circumvent protection put in place.

If they leave the barn door open it isn't stealing IMHO (Kind of like tuning into blacked out sports 3 hrs and 1 minute after the show is scheduled to start.....)

I feel the same way about the free analog cable Cablevision pipes into my house with my cable modem (I only hook up a splitter for Eagles games and local Weather Channel info during storms)
