Well I finally took the plunge and went back to cable yesterday. TWC made me a offer I couldn't refuse, with me getting basically the same package as the Dish Classic Gold with DVR plus HD & Platinum, with a two year price guarantee on their part, (no commitments on my part), along with my roadrunner high speed internet, AND the YES, MLB Network and MSG (Sabres) Channels, all in high def, for less than I was paying at Dish a month. I will be saving about $45 a month with the double play. I will miss the 722, however won't miss terrible standard def programing on MSG this hockey season.
I am getting 64 high def channels with another 10 more to be launched during september, and even more if I want to sub to the HBO, Starz, etc., and thus far their High Def PQ, is quite comparable to Dish. The MLB Network is quite impressive as I watched the Red Sox broadcast on their channel last night.
